What is a single-tooth implant?
A single-tooth implant replaces a missing tooth with an implant in the jawbone, an abutment that connects the parts, and a custom crown above the gumline.
The crown is designed around the space, color, and shape of the surrounding teeth. Unlike a conventional tooth-supported bridge, the replacement does not rely on preparing neighboring teeth to hold it.
